The existing infrastructure in the villages makes the efficient
handling of fruits and vegetables very challenging. DFV has been
consistently investing in developing solutions that allow damage-free
in-bound transportation (from the various farms to the Desai packhouse).
 The
packhouses are strategically located near the national highway which
ensures efficient and fast road transportation in refrigerated containers
or Company owned refrigerated vans. Thereafter, it is air-freighted
or shipped depending on the destination and customer requirements.
