Community Development
- DFV organized small farmers through its
support to a cooperative system of governance where farmer’s
clubs were created to provide governance and consolidation of
land, procurement system and development of modern work practices.
- With significant investments into training
and education, DFV has built an army of over 2000 farmers who
are well-versed in modern irrigation technologies, land reparation,
fertigation, crop protection, plant treatment, traceability and
quality control systems.
- Besides providing farmers with financial
support and knowledge development, DFV invests in their socio-economic
development as part of its corporate social responsibilities.
- Every farmer’s club working with
DFV is provided with the social development corpus. This corpus
is run by farmers to improve education, road infrastructure, social
service and any other requirement of importance for the village
and local community.
- DFV continues to improve the life of an
average farmer who has largely been untouched by the economic
reforms and ensure better living conditions.
